Sardinia

Just back from 2 weeks trip on mediteranian island Sardegnia.I first visited this island 15 years ago and then somehow forgot abaut it.This year I couldn“t ressist the promisses of good weather and famous sardinian „pietra di luna“.

After all day walking arround Capo testa and looking for something to climb(without guidebook) I saw this striking line on last rays of sunlight disapearing into the sea.Don“t knowing the name or the difficulty we started climbing on sharp granite of Capo and we ended in the dark on summit.

We moved to the village Ulassai which is guarded by walls made of some of the best limestone I climbed on.

3 Colors and textures of rock in Ulassai are simply mindblowing.Story behind Liz is just misreading guidebook and by mistake starting it instead MDF.The route has it all.Overhanging start,dyno,fingerjam,slab and long moves in roof for finish.

River bed Isilli host some realy strange formations and creatures.

Overhanging is the word to describe this place.Since Nurragos left this place is home to sheeps and climbers.

Further south we moved to town Domusnovas home of the hardest sardinian route opended by Adam Ondra. Domusnovas consists of two main walls and many small sectors.We went for the bigest one with some real gems.
